How to change a photo background to blue
Replace a busy backdrop with a solid color, and choose the shade for the destination where your photo will be used.

Questions about blue photo backgrounds
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. This preview lets you process single images without signing in. Requests are rate-limited to keep the service responsive; no payment is collected in this version.
Is the default blue a standard ID-photo background?
No. The default is soft blue (#dbeafe), not a certified document-photo color. You can choose another color, but the tool does not validate official photo rules or provide document-specific face framing.
What happens to my photos?
Images are sent to our processing service and held in memory for this request. This version does not save an image library or use your uploads for training. Your result stays in this page until you replace it or close the page.
Can I use a specific shade of blue?
Yes. Use the custom color control to choose a shade. Check hair and transparent edges in the comparison preview. This does not automatically make a photo suitable for official identity documents.
Will changing the background to blue recolor my face or clothes?
The selected blue fills the area outside the extracted subject; it is not a clothing or skin recoloring tool. Inspect hair, glasses and blue clothing in the preview, because an imperfect cutout can remove part of the subject.
How do I use the same blue for several portrait photos?
Enter the same color value in the custom color control for each photo. Process and download the portraits one at a time. Matching the background color does not standardize pose, lighting, dimensions or official photo requirements.
